A collection of free video production training videos is now available under SchoolTube University thanks to a joint program between Videomaker.com and SchoolTube. SchoolTube, the leading site for safe, free, video hosting for the K-12 community has entered into a strategic relationship with Videomaker. Under the terms of the agreement, Videomaker’s entire basic-level course and select advanced-level courses will be shared free under SchoolTube University.
SchoolTube University is the professional development arm of SchoolTube and provides free video production resources to the K-12 community. Further, as an added benefit of joining SchoolTube every teacher/moderator on SchoolTube will automatically receive a free basic-level account on Videomaker. (The details on this program will be announced soon!)
Video use in K-12 is growing rapidly, said Paul Langhorst, SchoolTube’s national marketing director. Today every teacher and student can be a video producer and Videomaker’s training videos will help the SchoolTube community create better videos.
Videomaker produces instructional videos on video production skills that are useful throughout the K-12 educational process. Videomaker instructional videos range from the basics of shooting, editing, lighting, and set design to advanced skills such as green screen use, color correction, post-production work and much more. “Our videos are designed to help beginners to professionals, said Jessica Rowe, Videomaker’s Audience Development Coordinator. “We are thrilled to part of SchoolTube University and to be able to reach teachers and students tap into their creative potential with our video production resources.”
VideoMaker’s basic-level videos will start to appear under the SchoolTube University Channel on SchoolTube.com beginning in September, 2019. With new titles added periodically.
